I mainly play PUBG mobile and some other mobile games.In our opinion, many non-enthusiast PC builders will be better off buying a processor like the Intel Core i7-12700KF ( Amazon) even if it costs a little bit more than its closest Ryzen counterpart ( Amazon). I'll try to get the 5th gen or wait for the next AMD processor.
The final nail in the coffin is that it also doesn't support PCIe Gen 4, meaning it will only be a worse buy compared to the 5600X as time goes on and that becomes more relevant. You can find them for $120 or less on eBay. If you truly think cores matter, go get an old Xeon 12 core. Just go look at the reviews of the 5600X and see it beat the 2700X in virtually all metrics.Ĭores don't matter across architectures, just like frequency. It is slower than the 5600X in every respect, even in multicore scenarios. Please don't get a 2700X unless you find it for $200 or less.
